Triad Gang Activity

Well... it seems that while I was away, some invaders have moved into our back shed.

Do you see that stuff... it is rat poop!!! I checked with Beanie Mouse, cause rats and mice are cousins, and he said that these rats belong to the Chinese Triad Gang and are beary bad! That's what happens when you live along the West Coast, close to the ocean. Sigh...

Alright... with Beanie's stamp of approval, we are moving into full combat mode. First... we have some peanut butter...

Which we use to bait a rat snap trap. Then you set them in a high-poop area and come back the next day...

Uh-huh.... Rat #1

And down there is Rat #2...

These rogue rats can carry disease so I need to get dressed up to handle them... a dust mask and some rubber gloves will do the trick...

I won't show you any pictures of the deceased gang members... it can be a bit messy. I hope I don't need to go into a witness-protection program!

  1. Well done Alexander!!! Those Triad rats probably came over illegally to steal your pumpkins from under your nose, and probably have rat-flu as well. Completely different to stripey mice from England .......!!

    1. Thanks Beanie! Illegal alien gangster rats. I am lucky they didn't steal all the Halloween treats! I'm sure they've been snooping around the garden as well. This is what happens when you live close to the water... and have Jack Russell Terriers next door who are fed raw meat bones outside...

    2. Isn't removing rats a job for Spooky and Rascal?

    3. You would think so but the local Feline Neighbourhood Vigilante Group hasn't managed to eliminate the Triad Gang so... I figured it was time to bring in the big guns!
