Happy Canada Day!

Hullo!! Do you know what today is??? It is Canada Day!!! And I know some people think Canadians are a bit understated about their patriotism but...

How many bears do you know who have pajamas in their national colours!!!!

Whoo-hoo!!! Happy Canada Day!!!

Ok... but I can't run around in my pajamas all day soo... I need some help with choosing my wardrobe for the day.

First up... ummm... excuse me Rascal!!! I'm getting changed!

There we go... first up, we have this lovely sweater with beary traditional Canada flag colours.

Next up, we have the oh so chic sweater/hat number from Jerry & Ben's auntie.

I also have this neat pink fleece but... it's not red and white...

So I could spice it up a bit with some bling!

Or maybe the scarf Jerry & Ben made for me?

Or... given that it is +30C here (beary hot)...

I could go for this understated but weather-appropriate number. What do you all think??

  1. Happy Canada Day! Definitely the beautiful white sweater with the big maple leaf on it--unless, of course, it's too hot for the temperature, then only wear it tonight outside when you're making smores. We also suggest a strawberry smoothie and strawberry shortcake to add some colorful red to the day (Jerry likes this idea very much).

    1. Great idea guys! Alas, we have a campfire ban in place so no smores for us... but a strawbeary smoothies sounds yummy!

  3. No more smores? (Jerry faints) In that case, Ben suggests having your seKretary melt some chocolate in the microwave, then dip strawBEARies in it; beary delicious and red too to add to the festivities.

    2. Oh dear... poor Jerry. Hold some honey under his nose, that should revive him. Strawberries in melted chocolate sounds decadent.

    3. Jerry was fairly upset in fact to learn that Sandy might not have any smores during Canada Day. Then Ben reminded him, however, that there is a new smores Oreo cookie variety available at the grocery store...certainly not as good as real smores, but it might do in a pinch.

    4. Oh well... that is certainly an option! Mama says little bears have to watch their waist lines though... Hmph!!
